- Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
- Department: Cardiology – Cardiac Catheterization Lab

- Shift: Day Shift | 4 x 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks | Possible Extension
Pay Details:
- Travel Pay Package: $3076/week Gross (including stipends)
- Local Pay Rate: $71/hour
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 Years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Illinois state RN License
- BLS is required- AHA
- At least one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab with cardiac procedures, or in a Critical Care environment, is required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes throughout all cardiovascular procedures.
- Provide holistic support, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients in a surgical and procedural environment.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, offering continuous updates and timely communication regarding patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, calibrated, and ready for use.
- Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials and making sure the Cath Lab team has everything required for efficient workflow.
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate interpretation and rapid response to changes.
- Continuously assess and document patient condition while they are in the Cardiovascular Lab, maintaining thorough and precise records.
- Support quality initiatives, participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and operational excellence.
