The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support students participating in the District’s Extended School Year (ESY) Program during Summer 2026.
Position Details
- Position: ESY Nurse
- Dates: July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026
- Hours: 5 hours per day (8:45 to 1:00)
- Rate of Pay: $46.12 per hour
- Location: Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk CSD
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (program calendar applies)
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services and health support to students participating in the ESY program
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policy
- Respond to student health concerns and emergencies
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting
