Sales & Operations Coordinator - Shipping Containers
Pay: $22-$25 per hour + Performance Bonuses + Sales Incentives
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Simple Shipping Containers is a growing shipping container company serving Oklahoma and surrounding states. We sell, rent, deliver, and modify shipping containers for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who can help manage daily operations while assisting with sales, customer service, inventory management, and equipment operation. This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities and significant opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls, texts, emails, and customer inquiries
- Follow up with leads and existing customers
- Quote containers, deliveries, and related services
- Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and drivers
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
- Receive and inspect incoming container shipments
- Operate loader equipment to unload and move containers
- Assist walk-in customers at the yard
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional yard environment
- Build relationships with contractors, businesses, schools, municipalities, and repeat customers
- Assist with Facebook Marketplace and other lead generation efforts
- Solve customer issues and keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable using computers, email, CRM software, and mobile apps
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales experience
- Construction, transportation, logistics, equipment rental, or industrial experience
- Forklift, loader, skid steer, telehandler, or other equipment experience
- Inventory management or dispatching experience
Equipment experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Compensation:
- $22-$25 per hour depending on experience
