Hours: This is an exempt, salaried position and must be available for on-call rotation for after-hours support to staff.
Salary: $101,250 to $102,262 per year. There is a $5,000 bilingual differential per year in addition to salary for this position.
Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: Licensed or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences required

This Team Lead position oversees the new Intensive Case Management (ICM) team which is a step down from AOP level services for clients who have stabilized. The position oversees staff who provide services for the step-down clients of all CRF's AOP programs.
As a Team Lead, you will:
- Assist the Program Director in the oversight of the program to include all aspects of client service delivery and staffing/management of program employees as assigned.
- Directs and coordinate the client process and treatment, rehabilitation, and support services of the program in coordination with the treatment team. Assigns the most appropriate staff to provide client treatment and oversees the supervision of client treatment plans.
- Oversee training and development of interns/trainees and staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing of Program, and in coordination with Human Resources, assists in the recruitment and hiring of staff.
- Provide outreach and engagement, case management, crisis intervention and mental health services as needed to provide back-up coverage to program staff.
- Perform on-call duty for crisis intervention and for staff supervision and consultation. If assigned, on-call duties may include the need for services provided in the field, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Assist with managing the program and ensure compliance with all County and CRF regulations
- Assist with scheduling staff work hours to ensure all shifts are covered
- Support staff by assisting in recruiting, training, and supervising team members
- Supervise medical records management within the program
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Strong clinical skills and previous experience working with adults with severe emotional disturbance/severe and persistent mental illness in a public mental setting is required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
- Minimum of 6 months of leadership experience required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and have a can-do attitude
- Bilingual Spanish is required
- A valid California driver’s license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Able to pass criminal/background clearance

Our Adult Outpatient Programs (Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center, Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center, Heartland Wellness Recovery Center, Jane Westin Center, Maria Sardinas Wellness Recovery Center, and South Bay Guidance Center) provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, and peer support. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.
All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
