Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assess patient oral health status using current dental terminology and diagnostic tools.
- Deliver general dentistry services including cleanings, fillings, crowns, and preventive care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct specialized procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and aseptic technique.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to inform treatment plans effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health.
- Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Requirements
- Valid state dental license with eligibility for part-time practice.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, or oral surgery is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with confidence.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and effective communication.
