Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems using schematics, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments.
- Conduct equipment repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history accurately.
- Operate field service tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, low voltage testers, high voltage testers, and other electrical diagnostic equipment to identify issues swiftly.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics to facilitate precise repairs on complex systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, and HVAC/R units.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems by analyzing flow diagrams and schematics to restore optimal functionality.
- Provide technical support during installation or upgrade projects, including welding ( welding if applicable), equipment setup, and calibration.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair processes, maintenance schedules, and system performance improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with client interactions is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, industrial electrician practices, high voltage safety protocols, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, engineering diagrams, and electrical systems documentation confidently.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics analyzers, and multimeters for diagnostics.
- Experience operating scissor lifts or other aerial work platforms safely at height if necessary for equipment access.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in hydraulics and troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage/ high voltage electrical systems, and industrial wiring standards.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex issues quickly while maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to perform welding ( welding if applicable) when required for repairs or modifications.
- Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and client interactions.
