Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality facilities. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring all cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks are completed to the highest standards
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to maintain a spotless environment
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote professional growth and ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness and safety compliance
- Lead efforts in commercial cleaning projects, special event preparations, and deep-clean initiatives as needed
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality excellence within the housekeeping department
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or hotel environments
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and custodial procedures
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and supplies management
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
