We are seeking Medical Assistants (MAs) to support outpatient military healthcare clinics serving active-duty service members, retirees, and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Medical Assistants and new graduates looking to gain valuable clinical experience in a structured healthcare environment.
Medical Assistants will work alongside physicians and clinical staff within Family Medicine and General Medicine clinics, providing both direct patient care and administrative support.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and rooming procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Assist providers during outpatient visits
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Administer immunizations and injections as directed
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide general administrative and clinical support within the clinic
- Maintain a professional and patient-centered environment
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to obtain military credentialing and installation access
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Medical Assistant experience
- Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting
- Experience performing venipuncture and administering immunizations
- Military, federal, or government healthcare experience
