Comfort Keepers of Wilmington is hiring compassionate In-Home Caregivers to join our dedicated Care Team in Wilmington and throughout New Hanover County. Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral hygiene)
Support mobility and safe transfers
Prepare meals, grocery shop, and assist with feeding if needed
Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe home environment
Provide companionship, social engagement, and emotional support
Remind clients to take medications as directed
Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors
Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality
High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification not required
Must pass background checks and drug screening
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
Ability to work two weekends per month as needed
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and compassion
Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform caregiving tasks
Dependable attendance is essential
