Duties
- Diagnose and repair various home appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform appliance installations, assembly, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Utilize electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues accurately and efficiently
- Conduct field service visits using a box truck or similar vehicle to reach customer locations promptly
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to identify faults and implement effective repairs
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each job
Experience
- 2 Years proven experience as a service technician or appliance repair specialist with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and equipment repair techniques
- Previous delivery driver experience using a box truck or similar vehicle is preferred
- Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex appliance issues
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills
- Knowledge of assembly procedures for various appliances and equipment
- Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, component replacement, and system diagnostics
