All of Creation Pet Hotel is seeking a manager/supervisor for our 24 hour pet boarding facility and doggie daycare in Chantilly, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
-Manage a staff and provide daily direction and schedules
- Provide attentive care and supervision for dogs in a daycare setting
- Engage in playtime and interactive activities with dogs to ensure their physical and mental stimulation
- Monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs to maintain a safe and harmonious environment
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by pet owners or veterinarians
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the daycare facility
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, health, and overall well-being; check them in and out and process payments
Experience
-Comfortable caring for various types of animals (primarily dogs and cats, but could include rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, etc.)
- Previous experience in dog training, dog handling, pet grooming, pet sitting, animal restraint, veterinary technician, kennel, customer service, veterinary assistant, or pet care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with care and confidence
- Strong communication skills to interact with both dogs and pet owners effectively

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Management and/or supervisor experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of an active daycare environment
- Passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care
- Must be comfortable caring for groups of dogs with varied personalities
