Mid-Cities Medical is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in servicing in-home medical needs for Veterans. Every effort is made to deliver World-Class Service in delivering government-approved lines of Ventilators, Portable and Stationary Oxygen Concentrator and Supplies to Veterans and their Caregivers throughout Texas, Arizona, and Southern California.
Mid-Cities is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual to support care coordination for veterans, hospitals, and patients. This role serves as a critical support function, ensuring all departments are equipped to deliver world-class service while consistently demonstrating compassion and commitment to our veterans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process high call volume – inbound and outbound calls to and from patients, family members, or medical providers.

Processing both faxes and order entries, up to 100 per day.

Coordinate with various branches for remote printing.

Consistently prioritize precision in data entry. Exceptional accuracy is essential, as it plays a direct role in protecting and saving lives.

Must be flexible between duties and on-the-job tasks.

Educate patients/caregivers about oxygen, equipment, or hospital requirements/policies.

Document patient records accordingly (e.g., Update Prescription line to ensure patient life safety, Renewal, Change, Travel, or Discontinuation, Notes etc.) to maintain file integrity.

Assist other departments for prescription and route assignment corrections and inquiries.

8a - 5pm (On site)
Education and Skills:

Brightree, Apachetta, or other windows based medical software preferred.

Advanced data entry skills, 10-Key Type 35 WPM

MS Excel – intermediate level (resizing columns/rows, basic formulas etc.)

Advance phone and communication skills

Multitasking is essential, you must be able to communicate effectively while document processes.

Resolve issues with VA or a similar entity as needed.

Effectively uses time management skills.

Requirements:
- Must be legally able to work in the United States.

Must be able to understand and speak English fluently. Spanish is a plus.

Experience in a medical office, DME, or hospital.

Ability to process written and oral communication from various sources.
