Public Speaking / Creative Writing Teacher – Part-Time (In-Person)

Best Brains is an after-school enrichment program serving students ages 3–14 with classes in Math, English, Abacus, Coding, and more. We are currently looking for a part-time teacher to lead engaging lessons in Public Speaking and/or Creative Writing at our Scottsdale center.
About the Role:
We're seeking a passionate, energetic educator to teach students how to express themselves clearly and creatively. Whether you're focused on building confidence through public speaking or developing writing skills through fun and structured exercises, this is your chance to make a lasting impact. We already have a curriculum for all levels and student material. No lesson planning required.
Who You’ll Teach:
- Primarily elementary and middle school students
- Small class sizes in a positive and interactive environment
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 4:30 PM – 7:40 PM (2 days per week)
- Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 1:10 PM
- Total Hours: 3–9 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging, level-appropriate public speaking or writing lessons
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and participation
- Offer feedback and guidance to students
- Share student progress updates with parents and admin
- Support a positive learning experience for every child
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in teaching English, Communication, Drama, or Writing or professional background & strong communication skills
- Passion for helping students express themselves
- Great communication skills and classroom presence
- Enthusiastic, patient, and able to make learning fun
- Experience with elementary/middle school students preferred
