Midway Rentals and Sales is a premier, one-stop destination for industrial and commercial construction equipment and supplies. We are currently in search for a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help with our growing Bobcat Dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline construction equipment, including aerial lifts, to a rental ready condition
- Prepare new equipment for sale or rent
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using computer, schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs on rental or customer equipment in the shop or on-site when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed
- Provide professional and knowledgeable customer service to clients and colleagues
Requirements:
- Valid chauffeur’s license (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to manage time and multitask with little to no supervision
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to move multiple types of equipment around the yard
- Have at least 2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding systems
- Must have own tools for common repairs. Most all specialty tools will be provided.
