American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR (Operating Room) position at an acute care facility in West Virginia, requiring at least 2 years of circulating experience and a valid WV or compact RN license.

Surgical specialties include general surgery, podiatry, cataracts, OB/GYN, pain management, and oculoplasty

Circulating experience is central to daily OR responsibilities

Standard shift is 8 hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
-
Call responsibilities cover evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, approximately 6–8 call days per month

No routine weekend or holiday shifts outside of call obligations

13-week contract

Active WV or compact RN license required

BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required

BSN not required

Driver's license copy required for consideration

2 professional references required: 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference (if permanent employment within the last 12 months, one reference must be from that facility)

Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration

Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying

Travelers may not work within the WVU Medicine system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break

Candidates may only be submitted to one WVU facility at a time
