Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations, workplace investigations, and compliance? We are seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team. Candidates with experience in the hospitality, gaming, or casino industry are highly preferred.
Position Summary
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employee relations, conducting workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and partnering with management to foster a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, highly organized, and experienced in handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations involving employee relations issues, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace concerns.
- Document investigation findings and prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
- Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee relations matters and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Interpret and communicate company policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Assist with employee performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience required.
- Strong background in conducting workplace investigations.
- Experience in hospitality, gaming, or casino environments preferred but not required.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, documentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Similar HR Experience is a MUST
- Experience working in fast-paced, multi-department operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
