Nature School of McKinney is looking for an Assistant Teacher to join a professional, dedicated team at a unique teaching facility. Located in McKinney TX.
The ideal candidate should have at least 1-year of experience, be confident in their ability to assist the Lead teacher in leading the class, and maintain a calm learning environment. Remuneration is based on experience.
We are open 45 weeks a year.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Passion for teaching, endless patience, and most importantly love and respect for children and their emotions.
- Experienced in organizing, maintaining, and keeping a presentable classroom during and after activities, a clean as you go attitude, which can also be taught to your students is a must.
- Good people skills, you will deal with parents, other staff, and, naturally your students.
- A can-do attitude, flexibility, punctuality, respectful and professional attitude,
- A team player
- Interest in updating your skills with further training
- Clean Criminal Background Check.
- Passion for Early Childhood Education.
- A natural connection to the outdoors and doesn't mind getting messy with kids.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
