Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering utensils or condiments as needed
- Ensure all dining areas are spotless by performing regular cleaning duties, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables
- Support food service operations by helping with food handling and delivery from kitchen to dining area when required
- Maintain excellent communication with team members to coordinate efficient service flow
- Help with basic setup and breakdown of dining spaces during peak hours or special events such as catering functions
- Uphold health and safety standards by following proper cleaning procedures and food handling protocols
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with serving procedures and restaurant operations is a plus
- Reliable work ethic with the flexibility to work weekends and evenings
- Basic understanding of kitchen experience or hotel service operations is advantageous
