Job Overview
This opportunity is open to those with or without experience. The hours for this roll start at 6am and go until prep is done for the day. Normally this is around 2 or 3pm but may be before or after.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and standards
- Assist in assembling dishes and plating food items with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including proper storage and sanitation procedures
- Clean any dirty dishes or equipment that are used throughout the shift
- Insuring all food is put away in correct places and labeled with item name and date
Experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working in food service, restaurants, or the food industry demonstrating strong kitchen skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
