Primary Responsibilities
· Provide quality grooming services including hair cuts and styles consistent with breed and industry standards, or pet parents specifications.
· Maintain a clean workspace
· Keep a clear consistent schedule and appointment book
· Work with the reception staff to ensure appointments are properly booked, confirmed and billed
Essential Skills
· Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality.
· Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills!
· Must be able to handle dogs in a kind and compassionate way
· Ability to manage time in a way that maximizes efficiency while maintaining quality
Requirements
· Completion of professional grooming program or apprenticeship
· Minimum 6 months experience working as a groomer
· Must be able to stand, bend and lift at least 40lbs
Reporting
Availability
You will have the ability to create your own schedule based on the needs of our customer base. Compensation is commission based, groomers keep 100% of their tips.
