Supply Chain Operations
Sunberry Limited is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for leading and managing inbound raw material logistics to manufacturing plants and outbound transportation of finished goods to customers. The Logistics Specialist will ensure efficient inventory management, cost‑effective freight solutions, regulatory compliance, and strong coordination across internal teams, third‑party warehouses, and transportation providers.

Oversee inbound raw material transportation to manufacturing facilities and outbound finished goods shipments to customers.

Manage finished goods inventory across plant‑based and third‑party warehouse locations, including temperature‑controlled storage.

Direct and coordinate storage, handling, and movement of frozen finished products within freezer‑equipped warehouse facilities.

Plan and maintain inventory levels of finished goods to support production schedules and customer demand.

Book and manage LTL, FTL, and intermodal shipments for both raw materials and finished goods.

Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements with carriers to ensure cost‑effective freight solutions.

Monitor carrier performance and proactively follow up to ensure on‑time deliveries.

Analyze logistics and shipping data to identify trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities.

Evaluate transportation costs through shipment analysis, consolidation strategies, and selection of optimal transportation modes.

Coordinate labeling, reconditioning, and special handling activities as required.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance to facilitate inventory sampling and compliance requirements.

Review production schedules and identify potential logistics or inventory risks, communicating impacts to key stakeholders.

Support Sales and Operations on special projects related to warehouse and logistics operations.

Participate in and lead regularly scheduled plant and cross‑functional meetings.

Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance productivity, service levels, and use of technology.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing development aligned with organizational strategic goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Minimum of three (3) years of logistics or transportation management experience.

Demonstrated experience managing LTL, FTL, and intermodal freight.

Working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian customs procedures.

Experience managing multiple third‑party warehouse providers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and project management skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
