Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, development, and happiness
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences for children and family members
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate teaching to foster growth and curiosity
- Assist with personal transportation needs such as school runs, appointments, or outings using family vehicles
- Maintain household cleanliness through residential housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, organizing toys, and laundry management
- Support children with daily routines such as diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap schedules
- Care for children with disabilities or special needs by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and working closely with families or specialists
- Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations following proper protocols to ensure safety at all times
- Manage household supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors for necessary services or repairs
- Foster a positive environment by modeling respectful communication and encouraging social skills among children
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants and toddlers; preschool experience is highly valued
- Strong background in childcare roles such as nannying or private home childcare experience involving multiple children
- Knowledge of child development principles and ability to implement educational activities that promote learning and fun
- Certification in first aid and CPR from recognized organizations; experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Skilled in meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional needs; experience cooking healthy meals preferred
- Ability to assist with personal transportation safely using family vehicles; clean driving record required
- Experience with household management tasks including cleaning, laundry, organizing, and residential housekeeping
- Compassionate caregiver familiar with working with children who have disabilities or special needs; patient and adaptable approach essential
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other caregivers
