C. M. Mitchell Construction company in Sneads Ferry is looking for Class A CDL dump truck drivers who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of dirt and aggregate products to our various job sites and local customers. Full-time, day shift, some weekends.
DUMP TRUCK DRIVER DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Haul dirt and rock from various pits/rock plants to specified job sites
- Haul away construction debris to various dump locations
- Keep accurate records of loads hauled
- Re-fuel and clean vehicle
- Report road incidents
- Follow traffic laws and safety procedures
- Inspect trucks and record issues
- Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with customers
- Keep commercial driver's license and medical card up to date
- Be familiar with NCDOT and FMCSA Clearinghouse rules and registration for CDL drivers.
SUCCESSFUL DUMP TRUCK DRIVER CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- Class A CDL License Required - Excellent driving record
- Must be able to gain access to Camp Lejeune and NC Ports
- Dump Truck Experience - Tandem, Triaxle, Quad, or Tractor Trailer
- Must pass drug test
Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 2 years of dump truck experience
Dependability
Professionalism - Must be able to work well in a team environment, handle customers tactfully and adapt well to changing schedule. Must present a neat and professional appearance as a company representative when dealing with clients
