Haustile is a growing American tile manufacturer making some of the most design-forward porcelain tile on the market. Our customers come to us for exceptional quality and unique design. We run an intentional, positive workplace built on craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and high standards — and we're looking for a hands-on problem-solver to help keep production moving and to step up as backup to our Production Manager.
What you'll actually do:
- Keep the line running: troubleshoot and repair electric conveyor motors, replace belts and rollers, clean sump pumps, swap motors and burner control boxes, and adjust laser/photo-eye sensors
- Learn and operate our conveyor control system
- Run the production floor when our Production Manager is out — hit targets, direct the team, and sign off on quality
- Place tile on the glaze line, mix glaze to spec, inspect for defects, and keep the area clean and stocked
- Follow all safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workspace
You're a strong fit if you:
- Have hands-on mechanical experience — auto mechanic, industrial maintenance, or electrical background is a big plus
- Can diagnose a problem and fix it, not just report it
- Are reliable and ready for full-time, long-term work (Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm, with overtime available)
- Are comfortable lifting and moving boxes (most 5–30 lbs)
- Are goal-oriented, take ownership, and are willing to do whatever the day needs
- Want to grow into a leadership role as we grow as a company
Compensation & benefits:
- $20–25/hr depending on mechanical and electrical experience, with advancement opportunity
