Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports recruiting efforts by conducting preliminary phone screens, facilitating candidate interviews and coordinating with Talent Acquisition team members to extend offers on high-volume, craft and entry level professional roles. This role will also support larger functional or regional talent acquisition efforts, collaborating with Talent Acquisition leaders. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.
Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on assigned areas of responsibility, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor, as needed.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
TALENT ACCQUISITION SPECIALIST FAMILY – CORE
Facilitates established recruiting processes within candidate populations, ensuring a positive and efficient recruitment experience
Collaborates with functional talent acquisition leadership to pre-screen candidates in high volume requisitions
Utilizes Applicant Tracking System to ensure job postings, documentation of candidate activity and offer data is accurate
Collects feedback from interview participants, combines and reviews data and provide summaries to decision-makers
Creates an exceptional candidate experience through each touchpoint of the recruiting cycle
Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner to increase candidate interest
Participates in job fairs, recruiting events, and other types of direct outreach to build employment brand awareness and candidate pools
Builds relationships with other HR team members and Business Leaders, developing understanding of business goals, strengths and opportunities
Partners with Talent Acquisition Leadership and internal HR team to ensure compliance with regulations and internal company policies and procedures
Establishes relationships and rapport with assigned clients to gain joint understanding of business goals, strengths, and opportunities by meeting on a regular basis and providing timely follow up on issues/concerns
Implements established sourcing strategy and solutions to deliver a qualifies and timely pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs and address anticipated talent gaps

Knowledge of talent acquisition practices, processes, and solutions
Facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, peers, subordinates and other members of management
Strong presentation skills both verbal and written including the ability to communicate business and technical information clearly
Strong project management, organizing and planning skills
Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field (Preferred)

Experience
2+ years of experience in recruiting or talent management (Required)
Working Environment
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
May require periods of travel
Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs
