Our client is a leading metal manufacturing business looking to add an experienced Lean Continuous Improvement Manager to their operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and operational excellence who enjoys driving measurable improvements across manufacturing operations.
In order to be considered for this role you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Six Sigma Green Belt minimum (Black Belt preferred)
- 10+ years of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
- Proven success leading Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- Lean Manufacturing
- Kaizen
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- Standard Work
- Pull Systems
- Takt Time
- Hoshin Kanri
- Training Within Industry (TWI)
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel as required
What You'll Do
As the Lean CI Manager, you will:
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Drive Lean Six Sigma deployment across manufacturing operations
- Facilitate Kaizen events and DMAIC improvement projects
- Coach and develop production and leadership teams
- Improve productivity, quality, safety and delivery performance
- Implement Standard Work and Lean best practices
- Utilize Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Pull Systems and Takt Time principles
- Support Hoshin Kanri strategy deployment
- Build a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business
- Track KPIs and ensure improvements are sustained
