Support financial operations with accuracy, insight and accountability. At Masonic Homes Kentucky, strong financial management supports the quality care we provide every day. As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple entities while working closely with senior leadership.

manage accounts payable processes including invoice review, coding and payment processing

ensure invoices are properly authorized and aligned with purchasing policies

maintain accurate financial records and support general ledger integrity

assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation and related journal entries

support month-end close activities and prepare reports for leadership

research and resolve discrepancies, billing issues and documentation concerns

collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely transactions

assist with financial analysis and reporting for community leadership

provide backup support for check runs and other accounting functions

contribute to process improvements and special projects as assigned

bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience
-
4+ years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and general ledger exposure
-
understanding of basic accounting principles, financial processes and controls

experience working with accounting systems and Excel

strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

critical thinking and problem-solving skills

ability to communicate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
