Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Florissant, MO to hire a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support a school clinic for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting student health and well-being.
Assignment Details
- Contract Dates: August 3, 2026 to May 28, 2027
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, school hours | 7.5 hours per day
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to school students
- Conduct health assessments and respond to acute student needs
- Manage student care plans and administer medications
- Collaborate with another nurse and patient care tech to support clinic operations
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 12 months of recent pediatric experience (high school-aged preferred; acute care or clinic acceptable)
- Ability to work in a high-pressure school environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Must be able to commit to the full school year
- Prior school nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Infinite Campus is a plus
