SFI of Tennessee is seeking experienced Stamping Press Operators for full‑time, steady work with competitive pay, solid benefits, and a safety‑focused team environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience setting up and operating Verson and Bliss Presses
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication using metal stamping presses.
- Experience with programmed, touch screen equipment in the metal forming industry.
- Knowledge of and to use precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, protractors and gauges to check integrity of bent and formed parts.
- Ability to handle parts less than 40 lbs or use lifting systems to manipulate parts for a minimum of 10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Be able to change tooling per the work instruction with assistance as required
- Perform routine operator safety inspections on equipment
- Perform operator quality inspections on parts made
- Follow company safety and performance requirements and show respect to your co workers
