The Executive Director, in partnership with Greenbrier Senior Living, is responsible for ensuring the overall stability, success, and performance of the community. This role has ultimate authority and management responsibility for all functional areas of the community.

Determine and implement the mission, vision, and goals of the community.

Provide strategic leadership, planning, and direction on issues affecting community operations.

Ensure the development and execution of sound programs, policies, procedures, and best practices relating to:

Marketing and occupancy growth

Public relations and community outreach

Resident services and care
-
Fiscal management and budgeting
-
Health care services
-
Facilities management and maintenance
-
Risk management and quality assurance
-
Hospitality and resident experience
-
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing senior living operations.

Provide timely and accurate reports, analyses, recommendations, and operational updates to Greenbrier Senior Living leadership.

Plan, direct, coach, and evaluate the performance of Department Directors and community leadership teams.

Foster positive relationships and communication with residents, families, associates, vendors, and community partners.

Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, resident-centered care, and operational excellence.

Perform other duties as assigned.
The Executive Director is responsible for supervising, directing, and reviewing the work of all Department Leaders, including:

Recruiting and hiring

Onboarding and training

Performance management

Employee relations

Coaching and development
-
Corrective action and disciplinary processes

Employment separation decisions
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Current Assisted Living and/or Specialty Care Assisted Living Administrator License in the State of Alabama.

Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or a related field.

Proven experience leading multi-department operations and driving organizational performance.

Strong financial, operational, regulatory, and team leadership skills.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
