We're on the lookout for a dedicated full-time ophthalmic assistant/technician to play a key role in our new office. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including patient check-ins and check-outs, payment processing, phone inquiries, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, electronic medical records management, patient referrals, pre-testing, instruction on contact lens insertion and removal, aiding in the efficient flow of patients for the doctor, handling office supplies and clinic orders, and ensuring a pristine and organized office environment—all while radiating a positive attitude.
The ideal candidate will possess proficient computer skills, able to navigate multiple software programs seamlessly. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, showcasing assertiveness, effective communication, a team-oriented mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.
