BE’S Refreshments is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and friendly Café Attendant to join our team. This role focuses primarily on preparing fresh grab-and-go items while supporting daily café operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and being part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare salads, wraps, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items according to manager direction
- Maintain and stock the grab-and-go cooler
- Wash and maintain the bulk of daily dishes
- Assist customers and provide friendly service
- Support front counter service during busy times
- Occasionally operate the POS system and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and café areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous deli, kitchen, or food prep experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and customer-focused attitude
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable transportation and strong punctuality required
