Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and animal-loving team member to join our dog daycare and boarding staff. This role involves supervising group play, caring for boarding pets, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, and ensuring every dog receives attentive, individualized care.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys staying active throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and safely manage dog daycare playgroups
- Monitor dog behavior and recognize signs of stress, illness, or aggression
- Feed, medicate, walk, and care for boarding dogs according to instructions
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play yards, bowls, bedding, and common areas
- Bathe dogs as needed or assist bathing staff
- Accurately document feeding, medications, behavior, and daily activities
- Provide excellent customer service during drop-off and pick-up
- Work closely with veterinary staff when medical concerns arise
- Ensure all pets are handled safely and compassionately
Qualifications
- Previous animal care, kennel, daycare, boarding, or veterinary experience preferred
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and clean for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays as needed
- Fear Free or animal behavior knowledge is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a physically active environment with noise, cleaning chemicals, and frequent dog interaction

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
