Support and maintain the daily operations of our healthcare simulation center. Play a critical part in preparing and operating simulation environments used in clinical education for healthcare professionals. Assemble and disassemble simulation rooms, including setting up and breaking down medical task trainers, high-fidelity manikins, and medical equipment (e.g., Stryker Chairs, adjustable-height medical beds, AEDs, code carts, Alaris IV pumps, and other specialized equipment). Operate simulation technology and audiovisual systems, including laptops and PCs, to run scenarios and manage real-time resources in a fast-paced, dynamic learning environment.
Provide technical and equipment support to faculty and learners during simulation events.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of simulators and support systems (software, hardware, and network connectivity). Maintain accurate inventory and stock of medical and disposable supplies (e.g., gauze, sterile gloves, tools). Assist with moulage, role-playing, and props placement to enhance realism in simulation scenarios. Assist in the development of simulated patient data and program simulator responses per instructional requirements. Develop or assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment readiness.
