Position Summary:
We are representing a well-established general contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on multifamily projects in the Inland Empire.
This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who can take full ownership of a jobsite while coordinating multiple trades across a fast-paced construction environment.
You’ll work closely with project management, subcontractors, and ownership to drive schedule, quality, and safety, while maintaining strong field presence and accountability across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day onsite operations for a ground-up multifamily townhome project
· Lead subcontractor coordination across all phases including sitework, framing, MEPs, and finishes
· Maintain project schedule and sequencing, ensuring trades are aligned and productivity is maximized
· Oversee jobsite safety, enforce OSHA compliance, and lead daily tailgate meetings
· Coordinate inspections, city officials, and third-party consultants
· Work closely with the PM team on RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement tracking
· Monitor quality control across all scopes, from rough framing through final finishes
· Maintain accurate daily reports, site logs, and as-built documentation
· Manage site logistics including deliveries, access, and staging in a residential environment
· Drive project milestones and ensure timely turnover of units and phases
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of Superintendent experience on ground-up multifamily or residential construction projects
· Strong experience with wood-frame construction and slab-on-grade product types
· Proven ability to lead full-cycle field operations on projects with multiple trades and phases
· Experience managing subcontractors, inspections, and project sequencing in a residential setting
· Solid understanding of scheduling, look-ahead planning, and construction documentation
· Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and construction documents
· Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
· OSHA 30 certification preferred
· Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to project sites in the Inland Empire
