About the Role
As a Lead Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a technical authority for complex manufacturing systems, ensuring peak operational efficiency and equipment reliability. You will drive production uptime by diagnosing intricate mechanical and electrical failures while mentoring team members to elevate the collective technical expertise of the facility.
Responsibilities-
Oversee the maintenance and repair of high-pressure hydraulic molding systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders to ensure optimal output.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLC-controlled automation, VFDs, and industrial sensors to minimize production interruptions.

Lead major overhauls of heavy machinery, including gearboxes, bearings, and drive shafts, while managing safe rigging operations.

Maintain thermal and fluid power systems, such as steam boilers and cooling circuits, to support consistent manufacturing processes.

Execute and refine preventive maintenance schedules within the CMMS to improve long-term asset health.

Coordinate daily work orders and provide technical guidance to junior staff to foster a culture of safety and precision.

Ensure strict adherence to LOTO, NFPA 70E, and OSHA safety standards during all repair activities.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial plant maintenance.

Proven expertise in rubber or plastic injection molding environments.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC systems.

Strong working knowledge of digital multimeters, precision tools, and welding equipment.

Technical trade school degree or formal mechanical/electrical apprenticeship.

Current certifications for forklift, aerial lift, and overhead crane operation.

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.

Experience in high-voltage electrical systems up to 480V.
