We are seeking two dedicated Warehouse Clean Up Professionals to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Your efforts will ensure that the facility adheres to sanitation standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidates will possess strong custodial skills, experience with cleaning equipment, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained facility while gaining valuable experience in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, including buffing and floor care using appropriate equipment such as floor buffers
- Handle the safe storage, mixing, and disposal of chemical agents used for cleaning and sanitation purposes
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move supplies, equipment, or debris
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Assist with general custodial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Support facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs or reporting issues promptly
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within commercial or warehouse settings
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and other custodial tools
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Basic facilities maintenance knowledge is advantageous; residential painting or porter experience is a plus
