BALANCE eating disorder treatment center, a premium treatment center in Manhattan, is seeking a highly motivated, passionate Lead Recovery Coach to join our expanding team!

The Position
A Recovery Coach is an essential part of the team. He/She determines and orders meals for the BALANCE programs according to client food preferences, food allergies and budgetary considerations; sets up meals for clients; maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room; and provides and maintains spreadsheets and records. The Recovery Coach is responsible for ensuring the food and meal provisions of the clinic stay on budget, and that food handling is always maximally sanitary. The Recovery Coach will also provide support to the RD’s and Administrative staff as needed.
Responsibilities:
● Lead on all individual meal support ordering
● Assist in interviewing and hiring new RCs
● Provide support and guidance to RC team
● Oversee day to day operations of the RC team
● Assist Lead RD on any RC projects
● Manage delineation of responsibilities related to kitchen inventory and hygiene
● Determine and order meals for programs per established meal schedule
● Plate and provide appropriate portioning for each meal and snack according to client meal plans and preferences
● Set-up and breakdown of meals, snacks and individual meal supports
● Lead and prepare client snacks as needed
● Maintain excellent hygiene of the kitchen, dining room and public office spaces
● Provide support to RD as needed (i.e., when out to eat, grocery shopping)
● Provide support to administrative staff as needed
● Ensure all meals and food orders stay within our clinic budget - daily, weekly and monthly.
● Maintain associated spreadsheets and records, and report these monthly to the CEO
● Attend weekly RC meetings to ensure excellent communication and improvements of operations and processes
● Provide excellent communication to fellow RCs and RDs as needed regarding day-to-day operations of kitchen
Who You Are:
- Passionate about eating disorders prevention and intervention
- Nutrition degree / background preferred
- 1+ Years leadership experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
