Key Responsibilities
As assigned by the Nurse Supervisor, duties may include:
Personal hygiene and grooming assistance
Reading and recording temperature, pulse, and respiration
Assistance with mobility, toileting, and incontinence care
Meal preparation and feeding support
Light housekeeping (sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, linens, etc.)
Laundry and ironing (client's clothing only)
Accompanying clients to appointments (no driving required)
Grocery shopping and errands
Providing companionship, conversation, and sensory stimulation
Using Hoyer lift (as trained)
Medication reminders (verbal only)
Infection control and safe work practices
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle (required)
Social Security Card
Able to pass BCII/FBI background check
Must attend in-person training and pass written & practical evaluations
Reliable attendance (90%+ required)
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude
Authorized to work in the U.S.
English-speaking required
