Duties
- Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assist with cutting, bending, and threading pipes using hand and power tools
- Perform basic plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and unclogging drains
- Assist with the installation of fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and water heaters
- Learn to test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Familiarity with pipe threading and cutting techniques
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical labor
- Experience in maintenance person work or remodeling projects is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced plumbers
- Valid driver's license for potential field service assignments
Note: This is an entry-level position as an apprentice plumber. Training will be provided on the job.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
