Logistics Manager - Life Science is responsible for leading and overseeing all Life Sciences-related operations to ensure the highest levels of service quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Salary; $70,000 annual
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 3:00 pm - midnight
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all Life Sciences operations, ensuring accountability for performance and service delivery.
- Supervise and support coordinators as the Life Sciences business continues to grow.
- Ensure strict adherence to all customer procedures and requirements related to Life Sciences services.
- Oversee and support driver onboarding and orientation specific to Life Sciences operations.
- Assist with the implementation and launch of new Life Sciences services.
- Provide operational support by covering open routes as needed.
- Develop, track, and report Life Sciences KPIs to leadership.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to create, implement, and maintain clear, effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that reduce service failures and support patient care.
- Ensure departmental compliance with customer contracts and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely KPI dashboards to monitor performance and measure departmental goals.
- Travel to various locations as needed (up to 5% annually).
- Adhere to all workplace processes, standards, and expectations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, or transportation required.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to manage and develop team members.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily sedentary, involving sitting for long periods, typing, viewing a monitor, and occasional lifting.
- This position may require operating a vehicle and repetitively lifting up to 50 pounds.
- The position involves both office and field work and may include exposure to extreme temperatures while supporting operational activities.
