About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing California plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney with 2–5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience to join its Beverly Hills office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for injured clients and is looking to take ownership of a diverse caseload while working alongside an experienced litigation team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident handling personal injury matters from inception through resolution. Trial experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, mediation briefs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Attend court hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and trial briefing.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and strategic guidance throughout the litigation process.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Ensure compliance with California procedural rules and court deadlines.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
- 2–5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
- Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and personal injury litigation.
- Experience handling depositions, discovery, law and motion practice, and mediations.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Trial preparation experience is preferred; first-chair or second-chair trial experience is a plus.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
