Coach (Part-Time)

Ardent Fitness and Education is hiring a part-time Coach to lead Function and FLEX classes in a professional, coaching-driven environment.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, coachable, and genuinely good with people. This role is for a coach who understands that great coaching is more than just running a workout. The right person creates a positive experience, follows standards, communicates well, and helps members feel welcomed, supported, and coached every time they walk through the door.

Schedule
Part-time
Approximately 4-8 hours per week
Must be available for early morning shifts
Pay
$19-$35 per session depending on experience
What You’ll Do
- Coach Function and FLEX classes according to Ardent standards
- Create a welcoming, organized, and professional class environment
- Start and end classes on time
- Lead warm-up, movement prep, and workout instruction clearly and confidently
- Provide coaching, encouragement, and movement correction throughout class
- Help ensure scores are logged, equipment is reset, and the space is left in good order
- Follow opening and closing checklists
- Follow gym SOPs, systems, and coaching expectations
- Communicate member concerns, facility issues, or coaching needs to the Head Coach
Qualifications
- One or more relevant certifications preferred, such as CPT, CF-L1, USAW, NASM, ACE, or similar
- CPR/AED
- Strong communication and people skills
- Dependable, professional, and organized
- Comfortable leading groups and building rapport with members
- Able to follow standards, receive feedback, and improve over time
