We are a pediatric agency focused in early intervention ages 1-5 . We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate using a battery of tests in an appointment that typically lasts two hours in person at our Chamblee clinic. Report writing can be done remotely, but the timeline is very structured, and it requires dedicated work hours for report completions if they are taken home. Approximately 1.0 to 1.5 hours are paid for writing, so that each client's appointment results in 4 hours of paid time per SLP.
Experience in early intervention is preferred. Experience and knowledge in regard to parent training and coaching, as well as being licensed in the state of GA are requirements.
Appointments are scheduled M-F, and also available on Saturdays and Sundays if chosen. Create your own schedule as toddlers are available daytime hours and do not attend school. We also have parents seeking after school or weekend appts. Several evaluators are part of the team, and part time is offered if a minimum of two evaluations per week can be committed to. Our contract fee per appointment including the report writing time is 288.00 per session. Experience in early intervention is preferred.
Formal and informal training in administering and scoring the assessments themselves as well as shadowing and training in conducting the appointments will be included in orientation.
