Job Overview
Jalpa Sheth Nutrition & Wellness LLC is a growing, multi-location, advanced nutrition private practice, now serving Miami, FL. We are seeking an RDN or RDE for Miami location. This is a 1099 position. Ideal candidate will be a credentialed Registered Dietitian, passionate about promoting health through nutrition, well versed with cultural Latin American cuisines, social media savvy, tech savvy and bilingual (English and Spanish). This is a hybrid position with flexible hours, candidate gets to choose her/his own schedule.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to-
- Conduct nutritional assessments and re-assessments in private practice setting, provide nutrition education and counseling to the clients as well as develop individualized meal plans based on patients' needs, provide dietary counseling and education to patients on healthy eating habits, monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to meal plans as needed.
-Lead and support new initiatives in the company pertaining to nutrition education such as managing educational content for membership programs, helping the team of RDs to create online courses, facilitating support group sessions, webinars, nutrition challenges, etc.
-Conduct local outreach for business development under the guidance and supervision of chief RD.
Qualifications & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
- FL specific LDN licensure required.
Other Requirements
-Social media savvy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling
-Proficiency in computer applications is a must.
-Must be good at time management and being able to work independently.
-Must have valid driver's license
-Fluency in Spanish.
