This is a morning position.
The primary purpose of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to provide support in implementing the Behavior Analysis Support Plan (BASP) developed by the Behavior Analyst. The RBT is required to maintain a copy of the BASP at all times.
Responsibilities include assisting the Behavior Analyst in assessing the recipient, implementing new procedures under the direct supervision of the Behavior Analyst, serving as a model for the correct implementation of behavior intervention strategies for recipients and caregivers, and coaching caregivers on the proper implementation of the behavior program.
RBT services may only be provided under the supervision of a qualified Behavior Analyst. Supervision must include direct observation of the RBT while working with the recipient, caregivers, or other service providers. The RBT is also responsible for maintaining documentation of supervision, signed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.
