We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to provide remote and onsite support to our clients throughout the Atlanta area.
This is primarily a remote position; however, candidates must live in or near Atlanta and have reliable transportation for occasional onsite client visits. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, working with different technologies, and helping people understand and use technology effectively.
Responsibilities

- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, email, and user-account issues.
- Support Windows computers, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and common business applications.

- Assist with password resets, permissions, multifactor authentication, and account-access issues.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity, wireless networks, VPNs, and basic network issues.
- Install and update software, operating systems, and security tools.
- Perform occasional onsite support, equipment installations, and workstation deployments for Atlanta-area clients.
- Communicate clearly with clients and keep them informed throughout the support process.
- Properly document all work, communications, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Manage multiple open service requests and follow through until each issue is resolved.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior technicians when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate client and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of professional IT support, help desk, desktop support, or similar experience.
- Experience supporting Windows computers and Microsoft 365 business environments.
- Understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, printers, and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience using ticketing systems, remote-support applications, and remote monitoring tools.
- Ability to diagnose problems, research solutions, and follow issues through to completion.
- Strong customer-service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to explain technical instructions clearly to nontechnical users.
- Professional, dependable, patient, and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable internet service and an appropriate home workspace.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to Atlanta-area client locations when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working for a managed service provider.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, firewalls, backups, or endpoint security.
- Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or similar technical certifications.
- Degree or technical training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys helping clients. The right person will be able to work independently while also knowing when to ask questions or escalate an issue.
You should be comfortable supporting multiple clients with different systems and environments. Attention to detail, accurate documentation, and consistent follow-up are essential.
