As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across residential or commercial spaces, ensuring every area is spotless and inviting. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate treatments for different flooring types
- Ensure sanitation standards are met by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and adhering to health guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or clients’ requests and addressing any concerns professionally
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing or maintenance is required
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and floor care techniques
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Experience with laundry services and carpet cleaning methods preferred
- Customer service-oriented mindset with professional communication skills
- Prior hotel housekeeping or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
