Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Be a part of the Maintenance team alongside Operations Technicians and Managers in a cross-functional team setting to minimize machine downtime and improve line output.
- Follows manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications, sketches, operation, manuals, and diagrams, to diagnose and troubleshoot abnormalities.
- Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using cranes, hoists, chain falls, hand tools and jacks.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the complex industrial equipment to determine the most efficient course of action.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance as required.
- Experience in welding, altering or fabricating components of equipment.
- Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements.
- Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specification.
- Put machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair work.
- Application of lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment.
- Provides maintenance in and out of building as well as other job-related duties.
Requirements: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience required.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to work in high, precarious places, and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job could include close vision.
This position is subject to US export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which require US person status. A “US person” is defined by these regulations as a US citizen, US lawful permanent resident (i.e., “green card holder”), political asylee, or refugee.
All employees must also be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required consistent with federal law (Form I-9). Export control assessments are conducted separately to ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR.
