Direct Care Worker – Part-Time 2nd Shift
Location: Green Acres of Manistee – Manistee, MI
Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hours per week
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 2:30pm–10:30pm for 24-hours a week
Pay: $17

Position Summary
We are seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to support residents with their daily care needs in an assisted living setting. This role includes hands-on personal care and medication administration. No license is required — we provide all on-the-job training for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Follow each resident’s prescribed care plan
- Administer medications after completing required training
- Support residents’ independence and dignity
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable, compassionate, and willing to learn
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation
